At Sebasticook Valley Federal Credit Union (FCU), the holidays are a time to celebrate community, spread joy and give back. This year, we continued the spirit of the season through festive charity events and ongoing exclusive member perks. 

Spreading Joy Through Local Holiday Events 

Valley of Trees Festival 

Sebasticook Valley Federal Credit Union proudly sponsored the annual Valley of Trees Festival, a beloved holiday tradition organized by the Sebasticook Valley Chamber of Commerce. Our game room-themed tree featured awesome prizes, including a flat-screen TV, Nintendo Switch, mini fridge and furniture. Raffle proceeds from this event will directly benefit community initiatives, holiday charities, and local businesses in the Sebasticook Valley area. 

Some of this year’s beneficiaries include A Family For ME: Supporting foster and adoptive families, the Special Olympics: Empowering athletes of all abilities, and American Legion: Honoring and aiding veterans. 

Anah Shriners’ Feztival of Trees 

We were also delighted to participate in the Anah Shriners’ Feztival of Trees in Bangor, where more than 60 elaborately decorated trees offered attendees a chance to win themed gifts. Our Christmas dinner-themed tree featured a four-piece dining room table and chairs, place settings, glassware, and more to help create a magical holiday meal. Proceeds from this event support the Anah Shrine’s charitable work, including national efforts to provide vital assistance to children in need.
