Sebasticook Valley FCU Donates Over $46,000 to the Maine Credit Union League’s Campaign for Ending Hunger
Our Members and Employees Making Difference
At Sebasticook Valley Federal Credit Union (FCU), we believe in the power of community. Thanks to the generosity and dedication of our incredible members and employees, we raised $46,399.96 for the Maine Credit Union League’s Campaign for Ending Hunger in 2024. This is a 47% increase from last year — an incredible testament to what we can achieve together.
Through your donations, event participation, and support, we raised $45,999.96, and the Maine Credit Union League rewarded us with a $400 bonus to bring our total to nearly $46,400. Because of you, we placed 6th in total contributions and 4th in per-member giving among credit unions statewide.
A Longstanding Commitment, Thanks to You!
Since we first joined the Campaign for Ending Hunger, we’ve raised nearly $450,000 — all of which stays right here in Maine to support hunger relief organizations. In 2024 alone, Maine’s credit unions collectively raised $1.3 million, showing just how much of a difference credit union communities can make when we come together.

Every dollar raised goes directly to hunger relief organizations right here in Maine, helping families put food on the table when they need it most.
